Get the latest drivers and see if that helps. http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=1764
Im having the same problem I am having the same message, "ialmrnt5 display driver not working properly" along with the same problems. Such as the game completely freezing, while I can still hear sound. At first I thought it was my drivers too, because I had reformatted my computer awhile back, but I checked and I have all my drivers. Then I heard that some people have problems with their sims after adding new expansions. And in the past 5 months, I have added maybe 6 new sims expansions. Thats when it all started. And before, when I just had nightlife and university, everything ran fine. So, I have completely uninstalled all but the first sims 2, but I havent had the chance to play and see if it is still happening. My specs are: Intel (R) Celeron (r) M processor 1.40 GHz 504MB RAM Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Intel Drivers
It wouldn't matter what it was. Intel integrated graphics aren't T&L so the OP would need a faster CPU FAQ fast help advice
