    Question about order

Hey guys, I got a new laptop (YAY! and it's superfast and has a vidcard and whatnot), and I've installed all my EP except for University because I had lent it to my friend who I won't see for a few weeks. Will I have to uninstall and then reinstall all of them to get them in the right order again? I didn't realize that it might be a problem until reading some of the posts here.
    Installing took a while :/

You can always try installing Uni without starting over (back up your sims first!). Some people have no problems at all installing them out of order, but it is recommended to install them in order if at all possible. And if anyone tells you that's a "myth", they were just one of the lucky ones.

If you played your game using Uni, then you won't be able to play the old games until you do install it.

Sometimes it works just fine to put one out of order. However, that's not 100% as sometimes it wants them in a specific order on some computers. I don't know why that is the case that it sometimes does and sometimes doesn't but it's best to have them in the correct order.

Are you aware that it's considered software piracy to have the game or an EP on your machine if you've loaned, sold or given away the discs? In fact, on the official site, it can get you perm banned for saying that you've loaned or borrowed your game or EP. A person should only have on their machine the game and the EPs that they have in their possession. (Sharing is not appropriate.) The only exception to that is so that someone can see the game on their machine. But they need to immediately uninstall it and return it, rather than leaving it on their computer if the person loaning it to them hasn't uninstalled it from their computer.
