Ranking Genetics I know your new downloads are supposed to be dominant over the existing Maxis stuff when it comes to eye colors and hair colors, but is there any way to actually rank that content and put it in the order of what you want to be most dominant to least dominant?
In a word ... no. It is a pity ... but I see glimmers of hope. Maybe someone with more generations running than I will have a better idea. But I am beginning to suspect that by the third generation the custom content's dominance begins to fade .... Anyone???
Unfortunately, we don't know if there is any ranking among the dominant "genes" other than that any custom will always pass down as dominant. (And it's doubtful that that would change since the program seems to look for the "custom content" code and there is no "blending" of code.) Within the custom content, I suspect that it would be random as to which comes up.
