Redness??? Sims 2 loaded fine on my computer, no problems. However, when I choose a neighborhood to play in the whole neighborhood turns red. You can still see the mountains, water, etc but just the outline because of all the redness. Any idea as to what the problem could be?

The contents of that thread in a nutshell: 1. Make sure you have DirectX 9c installed. Go to www.microsoft.com and download them there. 2. Seeing as how your card is a Radeon, go to www.ati.com and download the latest Catalyst video drivers.
When I try to dl it, an error message comes up saying... "The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted." I think something happened midway through the download and it didn't finish properly. How can I download again without getting this message?!
