    She's a champion!!!!!

I just HAVE to tell you!!! Can't resist it as I heard you are sooo curious about todays result.
    She got her certificate!!! :classic::LOL:
So I have my second champion now. The first one was my beutiful Satin, chocolate, himalaya: SV-00, SCH Polstjrnans X-antippa.

And today Polstjrnans Belladonna, Self chocolate got her third certificate. :bunny::classic::bunny:

The breeders competition had 12 excellent groups. When I saw them I thought - oh my!! Ths will never work.. But Belladonna and her full brother, Bilbo, got in on a 3rd place which is a GREAT result.

My satin chocolate sow, Polstjrnans Elanor became 1st runner up of the Satins! :classic:

A Self beige sow, I've sold, only 4 months old, Hwesta got the judgement that she's SO promising from Jens!!!! :classic: So I'm gonna red that combination now. :classic:

The judge, Jens, is the best in Sweden. He's also the one who educates new judges. And he's hard on all points, but real fair.

So tomorrows competition - I don't really care now!! :classic: I'm just gonna have fun, as that english judge, Fred Holmes, is hilarious sometimes. And a very competent and good judge!

Tons of hugs and smooches to ALL for your good wishes. I am hunting a camera....

Congratulations. I shall tell my wife. As I have said, though, she doesn't like computers very much. We have some himalayans, but I don't know whether or not they are chocolate. I can't tell.

    My wife tells me:-
    (1) That our himalayans are black.
    (2) She wants to know whether you are talking of guinea pigs or rabbits. She doesn't fully understand what you are saying, although she admits to having heard of Fred Holmes
    (3) I think she wants to know whether you have chocolate himalayan rabbits.
    (4) These are, presumably, not the jumpers!

Thanks a lot Phillip and give my thanks to your wife as well.
It is guine pigs I'm talking about. :)
How nice she's heard about Fred Holmes. He's assistant judge this time was Ray Higgins. Fred is such a "showman" so funny and so good as judge. Ray was a very nice judge too.
Himalayan rabbits are here called Siames.. The same breeding "problems" as guinea pigs. You want good dark markings and as "clean" bodycolour as possible. Good markings are often followed by coloured backs (zobel markings). A light good bodycolour follows by light markings. ;) tricky. Also it's a colour that gets better if the animals are kept cold. I've been lucky with my himalayans. The sow is champion and have left some good offsprings.

I breed a small amount of Satin Chocolate himalaya along with Self and Satin Chocolate, Self and Satin beige plus nonself silver agouti. All "rare varieties", with small breeding stocks. beige - you can hardly get it today even in UK. The best Self beige are to be foound in Denmark today. Chocolates and himalayans are easier to get - today. When I started with Chocolate there were none to be found.:classic: I had to make them. Today there are some imports from UK. Silveragouti is also tricky to geet hold of. At least good ones.

Ooohhh.. I rambling on again - but the genetics and breeding are sooooo interesting to me. :classic:

    Sowwy guys - .... :classic: ;)

    Oh Phillip. heh..
There is a breeder of both brown and blue siamese loops that are excellent jumpers here in Sweden. The rabbits your wife breeds do they have short ears and are real small ones? If so the way the markings are are called "russian" here and is only with black markings. I hvaen't got the new breeding standard for rabbits or guinea pigs yet. To expensive I'm afraid. :classic:
