Sims 2 crashing after "Quitting the game" why? Hello, I dont get it, The game its fine but when I quit the gamei return to windows thena fter a second everything dissapears and a BLACK screen appears. I cant Control/ALT DElete... or ALT F4... I have to restart from the case. Why is this happening? ANy ideas? I have a widescreen monitor i play at resolutions of 1600 x 1050 .. It might be the cause... I just need to fix this its quite annoying. By the way.. I dont see the "OPTIONS" on the main menu.. It oly says to pick from 3 neighborhoods. and Then the 'training" part. and QUIT... Where are the graphics/ sounds/ all those options for this game? I cant see them.. Thank.
Hello , thanks so much for your reply, I did fix it. I changed the resolution and it never happened again.. The only one thing is that I'll change my resolution to 1600 x 900 .. I use 1600 x 1050. I think that one is not 'supported' Wonder if it can. One more question I want to download a SIM to use it as a character. But the REad me. says to add the files to the " Download" folder included in Mydocuments/EAgames/thesims2/downloads. The one thing is .. that I dont have the folder.. do I have to create it? or something?
