    Some Pretty Useful Starter Homes

My new range of starter homes are aimed at players who want realistic homes for new arrivals. Homes in which a small family can be raised and which have some scope for expansion.

All homes are offered for sale in the same way as real-life houses, having all the following features as standard:
    • built on a foundation, pre-excavated for installation of a cellar: just requires stairs to access
    • lighting to all rooms
    • bathroom fittings
    • kitchen counters
    • kitchen sink
    • smoke alarm
    • telephone
    • space for car parking (requires a driveway laying)
    Additional detail:
    • Completely custom content free
    • No hacks
    • Required EPs ALL
    • Required Stuff Packs None
Individual homes follow in separate posts ....

    The Hereward

Read Me First (the post above this one!)

The Hereward is a 2 storey dwelling. With 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms sited on a 2x2 plot.

To save money a pillar was left out on the front porch. Building regulations do no require one, but aesthetically it would be better with one. New owners can choose their own design of supporting column after purchase.

Price $17,391 leaving new owners with just enough cash to buy a fridge, stove, card table, couple of chairs, bookcase, and bed

    The Boudicca

Read Me First (the post at the top of this thread!)

The Boudicca is a modestly priced bungalow that belies its price and size with roomy convenience. It has 3 good bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, one is en-suite with the master bedroom. It is sited on a 2x2 plot

Priced at $14,803, new owners will have plenty of spare cash for furniture and maybe even a car.

    The Saxon

Read Me First (the post at the top of this thread!)

The Saxon is another bungalow designed for urban sims who prefer not to be bothered with back yards.

Sited on a 2x2 plot it has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms (one en-suite with master bedroom). The large living room and very large kitchen/diner make family living a dream.

    Price: $16,951

I love these homes! I'm either going to copy or download them soon.

Thanks, Mirelly! It's hard to find a nice starter home. Most of the ones that come with the game are weird.

I agree with SBW. The ingame houses annoy me. These look very, very nice.

Again, Really lovely work, Mirelly! I will be downloading all of them, but must wait until Seasons is released for Mac before I can play them...(Only one more month!)

I LOVE starter homes and feel that not enough people design for this challenging, yet much needed niche. Kudos to you!
