Spiders and the Guest So I was playing around with the board a bit and looked at the Quick Links and who was on line. :nosy: :scared: Like looking under a rock...Yahoo and Google spiders! Yahoo spiders even SLURP! :ill: What an awful image. I think I get it. Someone is doing a search on Yahoo or Google and the "spiders" are skimming through this site and a million others in order to offer possible links. Is that right? If you want people to find your site you have to put up with the crawlies. And here I thought (Lynet oint: :dopey that there were real eyeballs reading our posts. Silly me. But who is Guest? and why is it reading I,Sim? (And I don't mean one of our members who is guest with a lower case g.)
A guest is anyone that's not created an account but still reads the forums. About the spiders, clicky here.
So it WAS a real set of eyeballs reading my story. Well, I really like that. Thanks Flamey. So besides me and the spiders, there were also a couple of real people on here this morning.
