    The Equalizer ...

... was played by crusty Brit actor Edward Woodward, who once famously confirmed that he was aware that his name sounds like a "fart in a bath" ...

Which brings me around to a funny event that I'm still trying to replicate. I must have been very tired yesterday, cos I completely forgot to capture a pic of it. Shucks! But maybe it'll be funnier in the telling ... :p

I had a sim who needed body points. His fun bar was at around 60% so I had him jump in the pool for a little while before dragging him over to the TV for a work out. I didn't actually watch him cos I was busy micro-managing his wife who was bravely looking after 2 babies ... I heard the work out routine start on the TV and while it continued I knew I could safely let him carry on. Eventually the dialog box pops up to inform me that he's got his body point so I hit the pause button and scrolled over to take a look at how stinky he had gotten ... it always cracks me up!. But wait!

Ew!! that must be bad ... he's foaming! There's a frothy lather coming outa his tracksuit pants. It looks hysterically funny ... especially because he seems blissfully unaware of his sudden evolution into effervescence of the fundament

I send him for a bubble bath thinking, that maybe, the bubble bath bubbles will wash his own embarrassment of fizzical effluvia away. No chance! I can see a spume emerging from the bottom of the bath tub --
This is the fart in a bath reference for those who are having trouble keeping up ... ;)
-- clearly this simhap is truly an awesome phenomenom ... it passes through simdustrial strength fibre glass like a breeze through a net curtain. After bathing he was still frothing. It was clearly coming from behind and from below the waist ... I'm tempted to coin yet another word ... aw heck, why not? He was foaming at his simphany ... :p

Bathing didn't stop it. Nor did diving back into the pool. (Actually he made the pool look like a giant Jacuzzi!)
    Memo to self:
Must see if using hot tub can cause this to happen ...
I was tempted to exit without saving -- always a sound choice when PC games seem to be simbehaving. No. I was tired and my brain was mostly fried and I saved and then exited

Reloaded and ta-da! Problem gone! Which was good and bad. Good ... well obviously ... but bad, cos I figured I'd get a photo of the amazing FFF (use your imagination ... I'm not gonna spell it out!) when I reloaded and it was still doing it. There's a moral there somewhere but I'm jiggered if I know where it is!

Anyway, I have wasted a good two hours today having the same sim (and a couple of others) jumping in and out of pools, baths and so on before engaging in vigorous exercise. So far I have had no further foaming simposterior occurences. Instead I have had 3 deaths from overwork (twice to the same sim ... who is getting heartily sick of my research and has since left the neighborhood to try his luck as a dandelion blaster on a nearby Sim Golf course.

Has anyone else seen such a sudsy shell-suited simanigans in their game? :D

No, I haven't had this happen but would love to have this "burp" occur! lol What caught my attention was The Equalizer! lol I loved that show! I've been trying to think of the name of it for 2 weeks. (I keep thinking it would be a good career path for one of our prolific posters. ;) )

This sounds like the classic emitter bug, AKA "bubble butt". Basically it's caused by fast-forwarding too fast through something, causing the emitter removal instructions to get skipped, and the result is that your sim continues trailing whatever trail was being emitted before. Other symptoms of this include "sim sprays water", "shower is always on", "sim trails green smoke", "sim glows in the dark", and possibly even "sim becomes invisible".

With the exception of the latter, it's mostly entirely harmless and goes away if you pretend it doesn't exist long enough.

Mirelly, you are not alone. Funny that it happened to me right after reading your post. I forget what I was doing during the time but I hit the fastfoward button then put my sim to sleep. while he was sleeping I noticed bubbles forming under the sheets:eek: . hehe, well he woke up and walked to the bathroom and the bubbles disappeared. I took 2 snapshots but both of them took place when the bubbles are at their minimum, if you look closely you can see them. I forgot to zoom in, it was too late in the night for my brain to work properly.;)
