The Nightlife Lottery It's happened twice now. My troubled Dalila left the evil Quinn and moved in with her sister Emmy. She moved from a house Downtown to a house in my sim Baltimore neighborhood. She brought 2 million simoleons with her. So in my efforts to move the story thread along I was forced to move Quinn in with the family (he wasn't manageable in a separate household Downtown, or at least in the way I needed to manage him ). When he moved in, he brought 4 million simoleons with him!!! If I wanted them to, that family could all quit their jobs and live comfortably for the next several generations. They've got 6 million simoleons now. I'm at work finishing lunch and better get out of this site but I wondered what's going on. Just a glitch?
I'd be happier if it was 5 million in U.S. dollars in my little U.S bank account. I think if I spent all those simoleons on the biggest sim lot with a big mansion stuffed with everything that sims can buy I'd crash my computer. So instead, I guess it's going to be a trust fund for the next generation of sims who may all turn out to be unemployed pleasure sims. The wastrels will bankrupt the family.
Same here. I've tried to play those homes; however, they run so slow. It seems like it takes forever for my sim(s) to get anywhere. I haven't had the "NL Lottery" happen to me yet though. I'm not quite sure if I want it to or not. I'd like to see it at least once.
Well i had a house it was 10,000 bux (TS2 cash) and i got a glitch and my sims didnt work for like 6 generations
My vampires get night jobs once in a while but then quit when they get promoted to the day shift. Being broke, I've found, is a fun challenge in the game. I have the opposite experience with NL: I've had sims move in with as little as 800 simoleans. Almost makes me want to throw 'em back. Come back when you've earned some real money, Mister. Of course, since I reinstalled who knows. I haven't had much time to play this week. Taking a short break before diving in and getting my sims back up to speed.
It's a glitch, yes. A fix for this exists called "no_lottery_move_in_fix", author unknown, I think on MTS2.
I've had move in money range from 600 simoleons to 6 million. Crazy stuff...now it seems like all my Sims in Nirvanaville are rich.
lol i just got the glitch but it ruinend my next story about my vampitres I like big butts and i cannot lie.....yo other brothers cant dinie whene a gir lwalks i nwith a idi bidy waste and bangs that big thing in yo face yo get sprung!
OK, now, friend Simsyth. I much enjoy your posts, but please be careful what you say. It's like talking to your grandmother. Thanks.
