Cassandra and Don are about to marry, but Don plans to kill her off shortly later. Nina truly loves Don, who was her first love. She was his first, too. She plans to give her sister a run for her money with Mortimer. Mortimer's aunt cynical aunt, Mrs. Crumplebottom, stays at the mansion following the weddings of Mortimer/Dina and Cassandra/Don. She sees through everyone's tricks and schemes. Bella returns to town after recovering her memory, but she is appalled about Mortimer's marriage... and that Cassandra married Don. Dina and Don work together to get rid of Bella, but it goes horribly wrong. By the end of the comedy, Dina is carted off to jail, Mortimer and Bella are reunited and remarry, Cassandra is free from Don and meets a new man on a cruise ship named Edwin Erhardt (played by Ashton Kutcher)... but he seems to have a secret concerning Mortimer on his mind (this leaves open the possibility of a sequel), Don and Mrs. Crumplebottom get married after a drunken night, Nina finds happiness with Remington Harris....
Paris Hilton has Dina written all over her, but I'm not so sure about Jennifer Lopez being Nina and Angelina Jolie being Brandi. Brandi seems like a grown-up girl next door, while Angelina Jolie is really exotic-looking.
Angelina most definitely has ways of making herself look trashed out. Girl Interrupted and Gia, for example.
How about Paris and Nikki Hilton as Dina and Nina? Hey, they already look alike, like Dina and Nina are supposed to (except for hair color). I know Nikki, doesn't act, but hey, these are just suppositions, right? As for Brandi Broke, how about Reese Witherspoon?
I have never played Pleasantview, except for an extremely brief moment when I first bought the game. I checked in on Veronaville once. I did, however, play Strangetown ... when I was waiting for NL I got bored so I checked into the lives of the Smiths and the Specters ... and of course found out where Bella is hiding. I liked that that neighborhood has built-in family trees. Makes the town feel more "real" to me, I guess. (Maybe the other two do too, I never looked.) So, my casting for Strangetown? For the Curious brothers, the Lone Gunman from the X-Files. General Buzz could be played by Puddy from Seinfeld, aka the Tick, or by Chris Cooper if you wanted to go for serious. Ertha Kitt for Olive Specter (is she still alive?). She's certainly spooky enough. Thomas Hayden Church as Loki Beaker. Jim Carrey as Nervous Subject. Marcia Cross as Circe Beaker. Crack that whip! Eva Longoria as Bella Goth. Need I say more? William H. Macy as Pollination Tech #9. He may be green and ugly, but he's a big sweetie underneath it all. Miscellaneous young television actors as the kids. Insert your favorite perky aging blonde starlet as Jenny Smith. Christie Brinkley?
