Two pictures from NY Nothing to get excited about. The weather was grey and very cold and I didn't take very many pictures. I took a picture of the statue because the man's name is Sims. That and a misty morning shot from the 39th floor of the hotel are all I've uploaded to the gallery here. Thought I'd share. http://forums.worldsims.org/gallery/browseimages.php?c=24 P.S. I left work at 3 pm because my throat is too sore and my brain's too fuzzy to think clearly. The first 24 hours of a cold virus are yucky.
Wow, that skyline is just gorgeous. I've never been to New York, although I'd love to go someday. It must have been nice, sorry to hear your sick though. Rest up...it's not fun!
The skyline is definitely awesome. It goes on forever in all directions. Yes, I'm resting here at home in front of the computer . I really hate being sick and I have to be at work tomorrow without fail. But I don't have pneumonia, just a stupid virus bug. I'm a big baby about sore throats.
Fab pics Lynet! And don't be shy of admitting to hating a sore throat. I have struggled thru full-blown influenza without taking time off ... but when my tonsils set on fire and my pharynx is lined with barbed wire ... I sooo lose the will to live
Cool pics, Lynet. Sorry you're sick, Mirelly. I have some pics to post of my Thanksgiving Holiday. I'll post them when I get home this evening. Nothing so breathtaking, just cute kids and snow.
I'm not sure Mirelly's sick, just Lynet. I think Mirelly was just sympathizing. (Or sympathising if you're a Brit LOL.) Everyone take care of yourselves. It's flu season! Icky poo. My poor baby has been hacking out a lung for a week or more, but is slowly getting better. I was going to call the doctor the day she started improving. She has an appointment next week, and since she's definitely improving I decided to keep it where it was. I hate it when my kid is sick. I'd rather be sick instead. Get better, Lynet! Cool pix, BTW. Thanks for sharing.
I should post some pics of SA! Not right now, though. This computer is veeerrry slow, and it isn't mine. When I get back to merry old England I'll have a crack at it. I have no idea how to though - so a step by step guide would be much appreciated! Fabby pics, Lynet. Very professional! I love cheesecake too. Especially the individual slices from Marks & Spencers.
Yay! I'm not sick!! Right on SBW I was just empathising. Me hates a sore froat me do. (I just nursed a trailer home fambly, all eight of them including 3 kiddies and a tom-cat teen, thru a case of the flu. Ye gods!! That was a nightmare I don't wanna repeat in a hurry. I only created them for some extra love interest for my growing neighborhoods. Poor olf Gunnar Skold passed on yesterday leaving a tearful wife, Joy (82) and four children and eight grandchildren. The famly home was inherited by daughter Kiki (56) and Ricky Cormier (57) who is very fat and (frankly) unpleasantly lecherous. I caught the old rascal leering at his son's new wife ... I am gonna have to move the happy couple out because the son is Ricky junior and that's just too confusing for an old goddess like yours' truly ... ... er did I leave any parentheses open?
I've been pretty lucky with my sim families so far, Mirelly. Rarely, someone catches a cold and that's it. No flu epidemics, thank goodness. I've not allowed anyone to get that bio-thinga-ma-jig career reward, either. I thought I read somewhere that sims can get sick from it.
Gotta love New York, especially in the colder months. There's something different about NY in the cold, and ya gotta love it. --------- It seems like almost everyone has some sort of sickness, ya know? Sorry to hear you're ill Lynet. Get well soon
Thanks, JohnEZ, for the sympathy. It's the standard cold virus. *cough...cough...sneeze* :yuck: Everything smells and tastes foul. And you know what they say, "If you don't treat it, the cold will last two weeks and if you do treat it, it'll be gone in a fortnight." (for any young ones among us, a fortnight=14 days)
