    Unhealthy State of Mind

Yeah, I live, eat, and breathe Internet, its my connection to multiplayer games, my way of speaking to friends when I lose their cell numbers. So anyways, today...the phonelines died, because of the security alarm, it was malfunctioning, using its ability to shut off all other lines to send a distress signal...except theres no emergency. So for 3 hours...3 hours, I did nothing but play solitare with The Office marathon playing at my side.... I'd just like to say, when you play enough solitare (I count about 563 games) where it actually appears at the bottom of the Start Menu...Well, obviously theres something wrong. But finally, through screwing around with the alarm, phone lines are alive again. (I'm very bad with internet withdrawl)

hehe. same here. the phone line gets shut off about once every other month if we are lucky and i have a fit. luckily it only stays out for a day because we have to have it (a luxury of going to college online ;) )

I talk to my friends over Xfire, Counter Strike Source, forums, and EQ2.

Howver, in real life I have a Friday Night game group (d20 games, D&D, Modern) that has lasted over half a decade. I am also in Tae Kwan Do, testing for purple belt in a week (part of this group of schools Brandt's Association , I'm not in the Inver Grove school, I'm actually where the Brandt's themselves teach, a pair of 6th degree masters, the only 6th degree woman master in America in the World Tae Kwan Do Federation ).

So not all my friends are online, but many are. However, I wouldn't give up my real life stuff. I love TKD and gaming too much.

Heh, yeah, I have a life outside too, normally I'd drive downtown or be taking Wushu (Chinese Heritage, sort of an obligatory thing, "It looks good on your college app!"). But I just wanted to sit in my house since I felt it right to be lazy before school came back, so, for 3 hours...solitare...

When I said the joke about "When you play enough solitare where it appears on the start menu", my friend made another joke, "When you use an OS with a start menu, somethings wrong"

This is disgraceful - but I actually like solitare...

    And spider solitare...

And this is worse - I'm playing solitare right now!!! This very minute!

I even started thinking about people I know as cards!

Woops - dawdled too much. Now gotta get back to the game...

PS - my Mum is a red 7 - now back to those strangely attractive pixels. Other than TS2, I mean.

Once again, I'm online. And once again, before I opened anything else (MSN Messenger was not the first program loaded - and that's opens automatically as soon as I log on!) Solitare appeared!

Mirelly, you strike me as a very very determined person. Either that or mad - I prefer to believe the latter. :D

I can't start playing Freecell or Spider Solitaire because I know how hard it is for me to stop. So I try to pretend they're not there and instead spend my time on this forum LOL ...

Don't know what I'll do when work picks up again. :D

I completely agree with your friend! :D And I hate computer solitaire. Couldn't get addicted at all, haha...

Like you, I'm awful with internet withdrawl. If you want to see me unhappy, try being here when someone's been on the phone for two hours (I have and hate dialup) so, you get the point. :)
