Uni Question: How Do I Join The Secret Socitey? Okay, how many sims do my poor little co-eds have to sleep with to join the secret society!? I took my "hussy" around to the community lots and let her scope out the guys with the black blazers. She hooked up with two of them, and a girl!! She kept their relationships pretty high, too. One of them, a really sweet boy who lived in the dorm named Calivin, got passed around all three of my girls, until finally my quiet little bookworm, Tina, got engaged to him. And she STILL doesn't rate entry into the secret socitey? Yes, I know, I can use the debugging cheat to get them into the society, but I want to see one of them kidnapped! What did I do wrong? Don't hook up with them? Hook up with more of them? What? :silly:
To become a member you have to have full friendships with at least 3 members of the Secret Society. Once you've achieved having at least 3 of them, they will usually come around in the evening and kidnap your Sim (in handcuffs.) And it can be pretty funny. I didn't notice what was happening (as I was working with a couple of others having left my other Sim to work on some tasks) when all of a sudden my screen closed (I had missed the kidnapping) and I thought my computer was crashing. Nope, just gearing up for its first visit to the Secret Society. Since then I've been able to see it happen (again and again, since I know what and when to expect.)
Okay, my sim Stacey has a high friendship score with one named Chandler and one named Lora. She is also high with Calvin, but he is not high with her because he caught her cheating. So she needs to go out and make friends with another one. Thanks Kat!!!
I've found that most of these "joining" things means that you have to be "in good" with the person you're trying to impress, rather than being good friends from your Sim's point of view. (So I try to get them up to 100 on my side, because it's pretty rare for them not to be good enough on the other side. And you generally won't get the friendship icon no matter how your Sim feels about the other person untl they at least have a 50 on their side. So the extra just helps your Sim stay in good long enough for it to work.)
The cheating that Kristalrose was talking about had nothing to do with a cheat to get into the society. It was probably something like cheating on a test or cheating on a significant other. I suspect that one of the boolprop cheats will do it, but I don't use boolprop and have not tried to figure out how to cheat to get into the society.
Kat is right, if you use: boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true you will be able to join a secret society if you click on "Spawn" and then "More" (i might be wrong with the clicking, but it's somewhere there) Hope that helps adamherb
