Well well well guess who Ok,the point of my topic is about one of your sims hating another sim and then something halirous or romantic or heart breaking happens. This is what happend to me. Jacko(my sim) hated this dude called craig(my brothers sim) Jacko and his girlfriend were out front of there house talking about there intrest While Jackos walking inside to get lunch Craig comes(I didnt know Jackos girlfriend had a realasionship with Craig) as Jacko walked out the door after not responding to what I was telling him to do He saw(and i saw) Craig and Jackos girlfriend doing that romantic kiss thing. LOL,its kinda funny because Jacko went PSYCHO he bait up Craig(who sobbed and walked off) and yelled at his Girlfriend. Jacko is now in his elder age and still single BUT ive got enough asperation points to get that last thing that makes you young again(well i think it does its the last thing in asperation awards but without EPs) Craig died from a house fire Jackos ex girlfriend is now married and has 3 kids and a mansion. Tell me or us some of your storys like this:shocked:
There are a lot of story threads on this site, mine and several other people's as well. Check them out, you may find a story you like. There are also amusing blogs on the Sims 2 site. That's not to say others shouldn't feel free to chime in here. The elixir of life doesn't change age status. Once you're an elder, you're an elder. But he can maintain elder status indefinitely with it. It takes three days off your age, so if his little slider bar is getting to the end you'll see it move backwards. Length of life varies depending on how happy you've been. And how much elixir you have. The oldest I've heard of is 85. My oldest sim (so far) lived to be 76. (I'm not counting freebie days from the elixir, just what it said on his little bar thingy when he died.) Can anyone top that? I'm curious to see just how old they can get. I had a sim become permaplat just before he became an elder, so I have hopes for a very long life for him. (Of course, it helps that I'm mostly playing his kids now ... )
Wynter Sparrow lived to be 80. He was in the platinum and exercised a lot. But when he died the house got buggy. The game was never sure that he was actually dead. Now he's an empty square (as in no thumbnail of a sim) in my sim bin which I'm afraid to delete because everyone warns against deleting sims. Before I moved him into the sim bin the house was fully furnished the way the last sim who moved out left it. There were no tombstones or urns. It was just an empty house. But when I tried to bulldoze it the game said I had to move the family out first . So I did and now have the emtpy square. I'm sure all this was because I had the maximum number of sims in a house that had survived 4 generations and also had several ghosts haunting the place. The game just gagged on all the data.
I also seem to have a bugged house, but I had multiple dead sims not be recognized as being deceased. The game finally realized Vidcund was dead, but his wife and brother still show up in the Curious family portrait along with Lazlo, his wife and adult child. I'm not quite sure what's going to happen when Lazlo and Yuna pass on (they're halfway thru elder at the moment) and Pep moves away... I had a lovely moment today when Cloud and Andromeda ---a hippy and his alien red eyed wife --- had twins: a baby boy named Astro who looks like his daddy, and a baby girl named Haley who looks like her momma. Go figure, huh?
thanks surprised_by_witches for telling me that. Anyway off topic:YAY im getting Uni and NL for christmas or maybe earlyer so are like all you guys pros at The Sims 2? :whitekitty:
Um, no, I wouldn't say that. Just a fellow addict. If you play it for a while you learn the tricks, but I still have things I'm not that good at. I've learned a lot from other people on this site. You just need to dig around and read stuff that interests you. A lot of questions have already been answered. That's not to say you shouldn't ask them again. We're pretty forgiving, and love to talk about our favorite simmy subject.
