Will he ever propose? If I am playing a female character is it pointless to wait around for a male NPC (or any male that's not directly under my control) to pop the question? Is this something the AI will make Sims do sponteneously?
In order for two sims to get engaged, the one you are controlling has to ask the question. Move them in first if it's an NPC, or just have the girl ask the question. It's not going to happen on it's own though.
Before I got NL I used to hate that I would have to move a guy in before I could have him pop the question. I guess I'm just a traditionalist and want the guy to ask. When I would move them in I'd find out that they had an aspiration that I didn't like, then I'd have to get rid of them, but now with NL I can ask them on a date and find out those things before hand. Well, that might be cool but only if you got the option to say no. I mean, who wants to end up married to Goopy?
