Would Sims2 work with Virtual P.C. installed ?

Yep, I can't wait to try the new version.

Problem is that I don't know if I have an n-vida or some other kind of video card that will play the brand new version of this game.

There are certain things - perhaps that if I wanted to create a sim, I have to still download .exe files and question if it's gonna all work out.

--- Is it better to just "wait" a couple of months, and let the professionals at Aspyr to determine if Sims2 will work with or without Virtual P.C. ? Maybe even tell the macintosh fans to consider alternatives ?

I'm sorry that it took so long for this reply, I do hope that it is still useful.

Whatever you do, don't try to run The Sims 2 on VirtualPC. Virtual PC is not designed for games, it's designed to run normal Windows programs on the Mac. And no matter how good your Mac is, the VirtualPC will be significantly slower, because it has to emulate all of the hardware.

Just wait, your patience will be rewarded :)

In addition to JohnEZ's reply. Virtual PC doesn't 3D acceleration so no Sims 2. I have VPC6 and it won't even open The Sims 1.
