And did you raise 'em or just move on to the next family? I had something like 35 babies in my first neighborhood, not counting ones I made in CAS, but I didn't get around to raising them all ... I've got a lot of infants in Porta de Luca right now, too ...

ROTFL, Babe. You really crack me up. OK, if we're handing in tallies ... I've raised, um ... a lot? 2 gen 2 plus 6 from gen 3 plus 10 from gen 4 (from infancy) equals 18 sims so far in this neighborhood, from infancy, if you count teenaged as being kind of grownup ... So, yeah, 18 made it to teenager so far. I'm betting Kristal has me beat.
Well, let's see. At my last census (Thanks to JMP's little census tool) I have 240 sims in my neighborhood, including townies and NPCs. 6 babies, 4 toddlers, 8 children, 3 teens, 8 YA, 36 adults, and 21 elders. I'm to generation three right now, and my 1st gen 3 kids are now those three teenagers. I started the neighborhood with only 30 sims. I used the delete all characters cheat so that I would kill off the townies and dormies and keep the population down. Of course, with each EP after that, it's added more townies. But, for the most part, my Simmies are mine, either created by me in body shop or born and raised in game.
I had the same problem for a long time. But, finally, it seems to be correcting itself. Out of 6 new babies born over the past few weeks, 5 are girls.
