Judge Volker rules that no photographers will be allowed in the courtroom. The newspapers resort to sketches of the proceedings. Witness after witness is produced by the prosecution, testifying about Dr. Sparrow's affair with Candida Menendez. The prosecution argues that Dr. Sparrow feared exposure and the ruin of his marriage and career and was therefore driven to commit a desperate act of murder. The defense finally puts Dr. Sparrow on the stand and he is questioned by Garth.
Pandemonium and Chaos in the Courtroom as bats fly in! An observer in the courtroom, having smuggled in a camera, snaps pictures. In a cloud of red smoke the bats transform into the missing woman, Candida Menendez, and Duke Sidewalker, private investigator. Dr. Sparrow, in a fury, leaps from his chair and smacks the woman before anyone can stop him. Judge Volker shakes his head then dismisses the case. Dr. Sparrow is a free man.
And why did Candida relent on her scheme to ruin Griffin Sparrow. This reporter suggests that Duke Sidewalker had something to do with it, since the two of them were married under the moonlight not long after that ...
Yes, a scary boolprop cheat where you can invite the whole neighborhood. I used it for my Simtown movie. The graphics started getting weird so I don't save anything when I use it. Yup for Dalila. Felicia's came with the game but I like it on her. I was also pleasantly surprised that Dalila's maternity outfit was a different color.
Yes it was/is Duke. He's absolutely my most favorite Sim. In fact, there is more than one of him in the neighborhood, under different names, because I needed him in more than one household when I was working on the movie. This one, who married Candida, is the only one really named Duke Sidewalker. The others are Roy MacNair and Detective Love o it was late.)
You married your favorite sim to Candida? You do have a wicked sense of humor. I appreciate that in a person.
Actually, she's a lot of fun. Duke will have to keep an eye on her, though, since she's a romance sim.
Candida's on the left. Mommy Mercedes is on the right. Mercedes has lost some weight and has a new hairdo (with a short veil -- Pronup again.) She also, can't see them very well here but they're quite pretty, has new ruby earrings. Mercedes and Count Leonid are an item now, too, so I think the Menendez family has lost interest in the Sparrow family. For now.
She's much improved! I didn't even recognize her. I'm glad to hear it. What with Dalila's pregnancy and Griffin's infidelity I think that family has its own share of problems. Of course, problems are what make a story interesting ... happily ever after is rather dull.
Plus it would end the story! Who wants to hear about a family who lives in perfect harmony. Now that would be boring.
My love, Dalila, I wish I were there with you at this moment, my arms around you, my lips on yours. My sweet angel, I miss you so. My studies progress. This junior year drags. I count the moments until we can be together. I'm sending you flowers every day, until I can place a rose in your hand myself. I adore you, my angel. Write me, call me, come to me. With all my love, Quinn
Dear Quinn, my Sweet Lover Your letter finally found me at Griffin and Felicia's house. Emmy delayed in bringing it around. I'm afraid she is angry with us but don't worry, my Love, she'll grow to like you. It is so easy to like you, so easy to love you. I'll be staying here with Griffin and Felicia until you and I can find a place of our own. The house is big and there's plenty of room for our baby. The baby is due shortly. I wish you could be here but it is far more important that you study and finish school as soon as possible. I will talk to Felicia about having you spend the weekend with us but she is also expecting a baby and has endured some difficult times recently. She needs to rest and stay quiet, so your visit may have to wait. I love you so, Darling, Dalila
Quinn must be a huge romantic...so far I'm picturing him dressed in the all black outfit that came in game, the one that looks like a turtle neck, like what a stereotypical poet wears. You better post a picture of him soon so we can see this romeo.
Uh oh, you may be disappointed. Good idea, though, about the outfit. A picture is attached because Esther is sending it to Emmy (Quinn is the guy with the red ponytail) ... Dear Emmy, Well, your little half-brother George is on his way. He finished up his senior year and moved Downtown into a very small house he bought right next door to his nutty mother. Excellent student that he his, and having graduated with all the honors, he got a job right away in the Downtown Medical Center. I predict he'll be chief of staff one day. You haven't met his girlfriend yet. You may not even know he as one. They're engaged, Emmy. He's fallen hard. Ok, I guess they both have. They act all silly and dreamy around each other. Her name is Adriana Curtin. She's a cheerleader. Well, who else would an up-and-coming young doctor marry? A nurse? That'll happen later, when these two grow tired of each other. Oh, I suppose Adriana is not so bad. It's the incessant perkiness that wears me down. Sometimes I think if I hear the school cheer one more time I'm going to punch her lights out. Her dream in life is to get married and have kids, except for the actress part. Oh, yes. She wants to be an actress, too. But enough of dear George. How's Dalila? Is she OK with this baby due? By the way, I suggest you have a little sit-down with young Matthew. He's been getting into Dalila's diary. She had a letter stuffed in it from her lover here, Quinn. Gooey is the word for those two. George and Adriana are insufferably sweet. But Quinn and Dalila are well beyond that. I admit it, I read Matthew's copy of Quinn's letter from beginning to end. Almost lost my lunch. Anyway, the scary thing is, I'm attracted to Quinn myself. I enclose a picture of him and George from last semester. Every time I look at that dark red hair and those cheekbones I get hot all over. Can't explain it. From the picture you might think he has ugly eyes but let me tell you, Sis, when you see them up close they are the most amazing eyes. I know, I know, he's Dalila's fiance. But she'd better put a wedding band on his finger quick. Oh my, it's the middle of the night and I'm exhausted. I'll mail this first thing tomorrow. Love, Esther p.s. Besides a picture of Quinn and George I also include one of George's cheerleader girlfriend and (might as well) one of me.
OK, I'm trying to remember who's who and failing miserably! Emmy, Dalila, and Esther are all siblings, right? Sybil's kids? Is Griffin thier brother? And George is their half-brother. Felicia is Griffin's wife? Who is Matthew? Did I miss any of Sybil's kids? I used the name Griffin for my latest sim baby, thanks for the great name!
Matthew is their late father's illegitimate child with Candida, right, Lynet? He lives with Griffin and Felicia, last I heard ... Otherwise, I think you got them all right ... And I'm sorry but I just don't trust that Quinn. I think he's up to something. No guy is that mushy ... (Just ignore me. I'm a bit on the cynical side.)
OK, guys, I'm sorry. There are too many Sparrows now. The late, great Sybil gave birth to Sheila Mae, Griffin, Emmeline and Dalila, and then adopted Esther. I started this thread with Emmeline (in college) and Dalila writing letters to each other. George is a half-brother, son of Sybil's husband and the vampire Candida. Sybil's grandchildren are Corbin (Sheila Mae with her husband Marcel Mace) and Matthew (Griffin and his wife Felicia). There will soon be more grandchildren because Felicia, Dalila and (music, please) Emmeline are all expecting. I knew in advance that people would become confused because I was following the lives of too many characters in this family, so I have already decided to draw it to close, although not quite yet. There are a couple of issues yet to resolve, like whether or not Dalila marries the father of her child. I honestly don't know yet about that one since there are major sparks (as in attraction) flying between Quinn and Esther. I really don't understand the spark thing. It happens when it shouldn't.
