I've also had my first headmaster visit now and the funny thing is: he came in through the roof! To clarify this a bit, I'm playing The Lone Gunmen in Strangetown, and instead of ringing the front door bell, like any regular Sim, he decided to take the stairs to the first floor. Of course, I didn't leave him there by himself so sent one of the guys to guide him down. Scoring points was not really difficult, I gave him a tour straightaway: greenhouse -> TV/PC room -> chess room -> one of the bedrooms. And then I had some nice turkey dinner ready for him. I even bought a very comfy chair and a plate of turkey was set at that chair and guess what he did... He took the plate and sat himself down on a much less comfy chair. I guess he doesn't like to be too comfortable. Result 101/90 And he didn't see the bathroom...
Yeah, the Lone Gunmen have a pretty expensive prebuilt pad, though. When you're starting out and have about $25K to your name, trying to get a Gen-0 family into private school, you probably can't afford luxuries like interior wallpaper and flooring. That means the bathrooms are likely the only rooms you can AFFORD to make pretty, since they're small, 2x2 and 2x3 rooms. They also have very high environment scores because a single light will make them fully lit, as opposed to a large room, which is difficult to light and keep a high environment score in when all you have is cheap, scuzzy furniture. As a family of 5 needs several bathrooms to maintain public order, and you net about 15 points or so per bathroom, a tour of the 3 or so bathrooms already nets you a goodly 45 points before you even TRY to show him anything else.
