That kind of sugar glass is a lot more expensive, they also use it to build everything glass on submarines so that if it breaks, nobody has to worry about it if at war (things such as ash trays).
Good thinking for once about the utensiles. On the other hand - war is never good thinking to me.. :classic:
war isn't good, but the sugar glass idea may or may not work, it depends on its strength, and it could never be a submarine with the presure a sub takes, thats why its made out of steel
I think stuff that usually is done in glass inside the subs are made of this - whatever it's called. :classic:
there is certain things i guess yeah, but isn't it presurized down tere, so they can breath and all that stuff...?
Yes, but I think modern subs have a pressure that gives like almost a normal atmosphere and if it's manufactured right it should stand that pressure. But do we really KNOW they have this "glass" in subs? I only think it's a good idea. I can't say for sure.
hum...i have an interesting picture of a game called World War 3, the graphics are good and what not...tell me if you wanna see it...
That's the same trouble I have with a lot of stuff I want to work with or share tim!! First I have to remember WHERE I put it!! :whitekitty:
Don't remind me about it. Especially now when I'm tearing everything out for cleaning, and it takes soooo long time as my back isn't very good. I think you can easily imagine what I'm talking abut Fae.
oooh yeah... cleaning and rearranging stuff tends to knock me out for a while afterwards!! Sorry you and Nina both have back troubles Lew!!! :( Even with the aftermath of cleaning... it's so nice to sit back and HAVE things nice and clean....
oh dear!! Well.. you would have liked my kitchen earlier today then!! I finally cleaned the fridge and freezer that had a can of cola AND a can of red soda explode in it... at different times... about 6 months ago... AND I swept about a month of kitty food debris up and SCRAPED what had gotten wet and dried on the tile... AND I finally cleaned the STOVE where I had a terrible hot chocolate pouring accident last week!! I had to wait for my hubby to come home and pry off the last burner cover that was WELDED on with the re-heated hot chocolate BONDING it to the stove top! We've had a rough month with me having troubles and everything gets away from under control!!
