wow! That was neat... I kind of understood where it was adding the cards for the player, and adding the cards for the computer, and hiding the computer's cards till the end, and adding 3 to the score if the player wins, cool!! I hope you learn how to add graphics!! Yeah it will make it bigger, but then it could be cool to play with making different versions... I'm so bad, I just want to customize EVERYTHING with my own graphics... heehee!
non movable graphics would be so they just appear where the numbers are now, right?? What would Movable graphics be then? Like when you drag cards around in solitaire card games??
non-moveable would be any picture... and moveable could be like um...the reels on a slot machine game...i don't think those are considered moveable Fae...its a click_drag action...and it would be... lblCard1.visible = true when it gets moved...so...those aren't i don't think...
what format would graphics have to be? could you make an animated gif of numbers flipping around for the slot machine, for example, so it would look neat but not really have anything to do with what it actually stopped on afterwards?
i don't think its an animated .gif...we use a special format...but i'm not sure what format it is exactly...and it would have an effect of what happened...for example my friend made a simple shooting game type thing...so when the lil laser things hit...they would have to make the score go down...so it would just mean more programing....but it wouldn't really effect the outcome...not on a slot machine anyway...
as of now, for those numbers on the slot machine...i can change the color of the numbers so it looks a bit better...tell me any updates you want or what not...and Josh...yes, i did make those myself so yes i do know how to program... next question on my mind is...what class next year...web site science or Comp science 2...
I would vote for Comp Science 2 because I think you could teach yourself web sites by just learning it as you go, like I did. Especially with all the great tutorials they have out here now!!
I recommend Computer science since if you learn languages like Java and Flash, you can fall back and create a website on it But look at both courses and post what languages you learn
Josh...i already know both courses...see...if i take comp science 2, then i can take comp science 3, and comp science 2 is Java and C++...so...i'm thinking on the comp science 2...
Well, Tim isn't LEAVING us leaving, he's just being a good student and devoting more time to his studies!! He'll be around more on weekends.
