That's amazing you have four near you. I don't think I've seen one since my late teens. I haven't thought about Oliver! in years, Mirelly. That brings back nice memories. It came out when I was 13 and my best friend and I spent 3 or 4 Saturdays sitting in the theatre all day. We memorized all the songs. We don't have butterscotch popcorn here. That sounds wonderful! My standard movie fare is popcorn and a box of Milk Duds (chocolate covered caramels). I mix them together. Dr. Pepper. When at home we usually make it a themed movie night. We make platters of every finger food imaginable and have movie marathons.
I loved Oliver! Oliver Reed as Bill Sikes scared the pants off of me. I don't like any movie snacks. I'm not a fan of popcorn, and most theaters in Mpls. don't serve hotdogs anymore. Sometimes if I'm in a junkfood mood I'll get nachos but the chips they use taste like cardboard ... if a movie place opened up with cool snacks I'd probably go just for that. But hubby and I normally split a soda and go out for dinner after ... much more satisfying. (If I drink the whole soda myself I end up missing part of the movie ... ) And LOL you're right Kopo. This is too funny. We can't stay on topic at any time except if we're not SUPPOSED to ... I love it.
