Seeing how English is only my second or third language, and to top it all off severely damaged by "the yanks" I never claimed to be perfect and certainly never will be. But at least I try to get as close as possible. I don't know any comma rules in English, so I usually set them how they would be correctly placed in German. But all this txt-speak is my #1 pet peeve..I hate it with a passion. As for M$...the first thing to go is their miserable and often misleading spellcheck A funny example: "Frauenhaus" which is a shelter for abused or battered women which was routinely marked wrong by M$-Word/Office As a corrected form M$ suggests then "Freudenhaus" which is a bordello kind of ironic, don't you think? Edit: sorry if this seems to be out of context. I fell back into my old mistake Reading only the first page and use the Quick Reply Box without even checking if there are more pages to read. -le
