New toys are so much fun, aren't they? I never used to care much about my computer until I got the Sims. Before that all I really did on the computer was write, and you don't need a super gaming machine for that.
SECOND CLASS GRADUATES FROM SSU Sim State University has graduated another class, and among them is Pleasantview local Amy Surfman. The Journal congratulates Amy for her Summa *** Laude graduation, earning her degree in philosophy. It wasn't easy for Amy to get to this point. As a teenager she was taken in by a doctor who had treated her in the Pleasantview General emergency room, rescuing her from a troubled home life. And during her junior year at SSU, she suffered a serious electrocution injury which set back her studies. But despite all this she managed to maintain a 4.0 grade point average through all eight semesters, earning her the highest honors offered by the university. Amy is returning to her foster parents' home, where she plans to help them raise their younger children as repayment for their kindness to her.
WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENTS Knight-Centowski: Recent SSU graduates Orlando Centowski and Autumn Knight were married Tuesday night in a small ceremony at their home. The Centowskis have announced that they are already expecting their first child. Orlando works for Pleasantview Animation Studios as a cartoon voice actor, and Mrs. Centowski plans to stay at home for now to raise a family.
Grrr... I'm so mad right now. I took a ton of pictures of the wedding, but only realized too late that I forgot to put the walls up while I was taking them!
Oh, show them anyway. A lot of times I don't even realize that there are supposed to be walls. Unless the bathroom fixtures are showing.
I had wedding pictures with walls down too! And the best picture has this big talk balloon right in the middle of it. Argh. And, I was so shocked when a guest picked a fight with another guest I didn't take a picture of that either ... I feel your pain, Kit, but I'll show mine if you show yours.
Awww ... I like Orlando. He's almost an elder now, in my game. He's such a big sweetie. Kind of weird to see him young again, not to mention straight! Well, here are mine ... the wedding party picture with the big balloon in the middle and a fairly good one of the bride and groom ... (Sylvie and Apollo) What you can't see because of the big dumb balloon is Max (the groom's son) picking a fight with Ashley Pitts (wearing the jeans, behind the woman in the straight white gown).

FIRST TWINS EVER BORN IN PLEASANTVIEW A huge congratulations to Orlando & Autumn Centowski, proud parents of the first set of twins ever born in Pleasantview's recorded history. Fraternal twin girls Summer and Miami were born Saturday morning around 5 a.m. "This is quite a shock," says mother Autumn. "We were wondering how we were going to fit one baby in our small house, and now we have two!" The Centowskis say they are looking into adding on to their house before the twins reach school age. (Photo: Autumn Centowski cradles her new daughter Miami while dad Orlando holds Miami's twin sister Summer.)
Yes, this is my first ever set of twins in the 2+ years I have been playing TS2... and no cheesecake involved! I couldn't believe it... and of all the families for it to happen to, it had to be the one in the tiny two-bedroom house! And as you can see I'm real creative when it comes to names...
Congratulations, HelloKit. Hard to believe you never got twins before. BTW I enjoy your journal and always read it. Makes me smile every time.
Yes - Congratulations on twins! I've had about four sets so far, and Yes - they always seems to land in the families with the smallest houses and least money! Makes for a challenging (but rewarding) couple of Sim Years!
