Oy! That's about my worst nightmare for now when it comes to computers: trying to fix a problem when you dont even know what the problem is. That, and trying to find a file when you have no idea what it is and where it's located.
I thought that computers were always like that. All the files have a suffix that means something (I have no idead what, most of the time) and as for knowing where a problem is, I haven't a hope. Programmes spread their programmes throughout the computer and I dare not delete a single file because invariably a notice comes up warning me of dire consequences if I do delete anything at all.
