Run, Mary Kate, run for your life!

All three of those, um, ladies, are vamps in my game and you never saw so much catfighting. Every night the first thing Brittney does when she gets up is pounce on Heather. They roll around in a huge dust cloud for most of the night.

Tiffany and my other vampire just ignore them.

They moved off campus, and have a very nice mansion now, but does the bickering stop? Of course not.

    :D

"So you moved BACK to the Fire Apartment?"

"Yes we did. It was one of the only prefurbished rental properties on campus. Not to mention I was getting a bit homesick after all that stuff happened at 'you-know-where...'"

"Ah yeah...I'm sorry that did not turn out well for you, Sakura."

"It's alright Hyacinth. I guess it just wasn't meant to be."

"Indeed. So you're living there with the Barker girls?"

"Yep. They're very nice people. It's funny to hear Winry tell stories of how Narc changed his ways to suit her better."

"I can't believe you'd go from wanting to go out all the time to wanting to stay at home and raise a family. That takes a lot of guts there to be so selfless..."

"He's a Lockhart alright, through and through. 'The males are family men---"
    "---and the women seek knowledge."

"Though in my family's case, the men seek a billion friends and the women own a conglomerate *sigh*"

"You do come from an odd line of Lockharts...your grandmother has red eyes and your grandpa's Goopy Gilscarbo. Your aunt is a Psychic and has red eyes and your uncle is an alien. Your dad has red eyes too..."

"And my cousin is a cross between alien and red eyes. Now she has two funky looking babies."

"I'm hoping things work out between me and Tosha. I still can't believe I got engaged to her."

"I'm wondering how my future will be with Pong. He's a sweet man but...I don't want to be a vampire..."

"Speaking of vampires, I heard that Tiffany moved out of the Greek House too?"

"She went to live in the old shack down the street from here. She seems to be quite content to live by herself."

"Actually I also heard that two guys from the frat house moved in there too..."

    "Really? Whom?"

    Meanwhile...

"You sure this is the right place, Castor?"

"Yeah it is. Dark, desolate, gray. This is the place alright."

"Why do you want to live here? Couldn't we do our research at the House?"

"It makes it more of a legit experiment if we live here. We can observe how she functions...and there's more of a chance we could..."

"Yeah, I'm curious about that as well. It's not like I have a whole lot to risk anyway."

"Heh, you live up to your family name, Luke."

"Sure do. But this time I'm not observing the stars..."

    "Far from it."

"Hey guys, if you want something to eat, come in! Quit hanging out in my driveway!"

Castor Nova and Luke Curious (pictured) walked to the front door of the house. Tiffany greeted them and ushered them into her new home. The large room was painted a burgundy, and the floors were gray and weathered. Plush curtains lined the fogged windows...the room was solely lit by candlelight. They came in and sat down in the antique black chairs and ate the spaghetti on the antique black table...most everything was shades of black and red...

"So what brings you guys here?"

"We thought you could use the company."

"I was doing quite well by myself. I even finished my first semester of Junior year in peace."

"Ah. I'm about to finish my Senior year myself..."

"I know that, Castor. We used to date, remember?"

"Oh right, right." Castor blushed. Luke smirked and continued eating.

"I moved the extra coffins in the guest bedroom. Can you guys sleep there?"

    "Uh...do you have...regular beds...?"

"Ah I have some in the attic...here, help me move them down..."

Thus started the great experiment in observing vampiric behavior.

Apparently Castor's and Tiffany's red hearts went away somehow...though they were dating before Nightlife...I could easily fix that...

"Castor, why didn't you remember that we used to date?"

    "I...guess...it's because...well...you've..."

    "Changed?"

"Yeah...you're not the sweet, shy girl across the street anymore. You don't even have brown hair anymore. Why did you let this happen to you?"

"I'm still the sweet, shy girl, Castor. This doesn't change who I am on the inside..."

"Do you like being a vampire?"

"It takes some time to get used to it, but once you do, it's like...normal...you know? I really like being this way...I can't really imagine changing back anytime soon."

"That's good...Tiffany...um...do you know why I moved here?"

"So you could be one too?"

    "Yeah...I really do...and I also wanted to..."

    "Be with me?"

"Yeah..." he blushed and smiled. Castor stared into Tiffany's red eyes. He could feel himself become drawn to her..."The trance..." he thought to himself. He knew he loved her, they spend most of the evening talking and catching up on things...but he didn't realize that the experiment would be taking this turn so fast..."Gah, let my emotions get in the way... so be it!" he thought. He closed his eyes and felt her teeth sink into his neck...

    Later...

"Say Castor, you look different," commented Luke.

    "Yeah, she bit me."

"Ah I should've guessed with the purple skin and the teeth. You might want to change the style, your look seems a bit goofy..."

"I was just bitten a few minutes ago, Luke." They laughed and continued to eat their dinner of spaghetti...again...

"Oh yeah, who's the new chick?"

"Oh, Allegra? She wanted in on the experiment when I was talking to her earlier today."

"Ah, right. I hope you're not like Ashley and have multiple---"

"Knock it off, you know I'm not that type."

"Just kidding, sheesh. Is a side effect of vampirism grouchiness?"

    "Huh, don't really know..."

"Seems like it," Allegra joked as she grabbed herself a plate of food. She sat down at the small table. Her added funds to the household let them build a separate kitchen off the living room. Now they couldn't smell the stink of dirty dishes waft through the house when they forgot to clean.

"Couldn't have we just hired a maid?" Allegra had asked earlier.

"I don't want visitors, they're annoying. Especially the hired help," Tiffany put her foot down. "Besides, I do most of the cleaning when I'm bored."

So that was that. Now there were two coffins in the house. Two more to go...

"David, why is there a man in a white suit...with white hair and purple skin?" asked the elderly Lora Yuna. She had been expecting her college-aged daughters, Winry and Feye, to come visit her. But instead there was some stranger coming out of the taxi parked at the street.

"Hmm? Huh that looks like the guy I went to college with long ago," replied David Merrick, Lora's brother and Meryl's father.

"Why is he here, then? Did you invite him?"

"No, I barely know the fellow."

"He's at the door, you answer it!"

"Fine, fine..." David waited until the man rang the doorbell, then went to answer the door. "May I help you?"

    "Yes...uh...could I use your computer?"

"Sure thing, come on in." He led the fellow into the study, and let him use the computer. David then went into the living room and said, "I think the man's finding a house on our computer...odd..."

"Hmm, interesting," commented Lora. Then they noticed the man leaving the house to hitch a ride in another taxi. The siblings looked at each other with confused and wondering eyes.

The man's taxi took him to the mansion on the other side of town. The house was suitable for his needs...dark and ancient, with plenty of room for housemates later on...a few coffins in the basement...He moved his few things in and installed a telephone, which he promptly used to call...

    "Hello, Tiffany? I'm moved in."

"Hi Castor! I've been missing you so badly since you moved out..."

"I know, it's been murder on me as well. Don't worry though, hon, you'll be graduating soon and you can come live with me. I found a fixer-upper in Downtown."

"Ah great! I can't wait to get out of here..."

"I know, I know. Then we'll get married...have kids if we wanted to...*sigh*"

"Or just pursue our careers and learn a few skills."

"Yeah, that too. How are the others doing?"

"Ah yeah, Luke and Allegra are doing fine. I can't believe they're vampires as well..."

"It was inevitable. Luke had it coming and Allegra fell in love with Luke's charms, whatever they are."

"Indeed. My goodness Luke is playing the part well, he looks ridiculous in the getup he's in! And yet Allegra was meant to be a vampire, she did not have to change a thing."

"Yeah she's always been a gothic type and always will be."

"Yep. So how have you been doing since graduating?"

"Alright. Took forever to find a house, somehow I got dropped off at some old lady's house. Remember David Merrick and Dizzy?"

"Ah yeah, Dizzy especially. She was in Tri Var long ago...her daughter *was* in Tri Var too until they all abandoned ship. Why do you ask?"

"They're living with their siblings. They're elderly now, I guess they needed someone there."

"Ah ok. Aren't the siblings the ones with 6 kids?"

"Yep. I used their computer briefly, nice family. I found a job as a Nurse and found the house as well."

"Ah that's good. I better let you go then, rest up for the job."

"Right, and you need to study."

    "Har har, you know me."

"I love you too." They laughed and hung up. Castor went down into the basement to bring one of the coffins up to the upstairs bedroom. "Such a pain in the butt to fly down there..." he thought to himself.

    Chee-Z The Go-Kart Mozart

I apologize for not updating this sooner. I haven't had enough material to write up a decent chapter. *sigh* Better rescue the story before it gets lost on page 2! :D

Drake Barker was adjusted to his life as a Frat Boy. He kept up with his sibling and cousins in college via the phone, but he could never really admit to them that he just had no idea what to do with his life or what to do about college. He always seemed lost since he was adopted by one family and then left on the doorstep of the family's daughter's exceptionally large family. He has never quite found himself, and hoped that college would lead him to discover that. However, it was Sophmore year and he had changed his lifetime wants and his majors twice already. He still retained the mullet and disco suit since that seemed to fit him just fine.

Drake had the support of his Frat Brothers, Joshua, Keith and Narc. No matter what he tried to be, they would always be there to either pull him out of it or guide him along. He almost considered them to be the brothers he never really had growing up. One day, Drake came down with a horrible food poisoning from desperately eating some old food from the night before. He was not keeping anything down and would have to rush to the bathroom in the middle of everything, including writing his term paper. He was rushed and stressed. He did not want to fail.

Suddenly when Drake was at the toilet once more, he collapsed in a faint. Joshua knocked on the door and asked if everything was all right, then opened the locked door with a coat hanger to check on Drake. His eyes widened as he was faced with Death himself hovering over Drake and jotting his name down on a clipboard.

"Hey you can't take him yet!" gasped Joshua.

"Why not? It's my job, son. He's dead."

"He's too young to die! He has a long life ahead of him!" Joshua was hysterical and was down on his knees and begging for this boy's life, even though he never really knew him and was just friends with him.

"Son, calm down, calm down. Look, I'll give you a chance." The Grim Reaper took out a shining blue crystal from the pocket of his ragged black robes and held his hands out. "See this crystal? If you can pick the hand that has the crystal---" he shuffled the crystal in his hands, behind his back, and then held out his fists---"then you can have this guy back."

"Hmm..." Joshua had the background of a logical scientist. He was a Biology major, and his brother Martin was going to be a Mad Scientist someday. He thought long and hard, glancing between fist and fist. He noticed that the left hand was bulging a little more. He took a deep breath and said "The left one, sir."

The Grim Reaper opened his clenched fist and revealed the crystal, saying "No way, no way" over and over. He slapped his hand on his forehead and shook his head, and resurrected Drake on the spot.

"Dude, what happened?" Drake looked around, confused.

    "Uh...you passed...out there...thought you were a goner."

"Thanks buddy, I could've died right there if you didn't use that coat hanger."

Joshua was still holding the bent coat hanger. He laughed and threw it in the trash. "Come on Drake, you need to go lie down for a while." From then on Drake and Joshua would be best friends for life. When Joshua finished college, he called for a taxi waited on Keith to get his luggage down the stairs.

"Drake, I want to tell you something."

    "Yeah, Josh?"

"You know...I think you guys would probably do better if you either got new members to join or just let the legacy of the fraternity to go to the history books. As a man with a college degree...I do think that you guys deserve better than to be partying all the time...you know...crack down on the books and get out of here...there's more to life than pizza and sorority chicks moving in and out and throwing toga parties. I realize that when you collapsed on the floor in that bathroom upstairs. You got to take advantage of what is given to you or else you'll be regretting it for the rest of your life. You don't want to fail out of school, do you?"

    "No..."

"Then here's the deal..." Joshua gave Drake the keys to the yellow sports car in the garage. "Get your things and go to that house with all the chicks in it." He winked and walked out with the numerous amounts of luggage and bowling shirt-clad Keith Beare in towe. The future business man left the Greek House with a 4.0 average in school and a long and strange road ahead of him when he will try to find his old frat friends Ashley Pitts and Castor Nova.

Keith faced the dangers of attempting to marry a woman who had probably slept with several men before him. He wondered if he would be able to tame her. Maybe getting her out of college would be the best thing for her. "Oh Heather darling...I'm coming back for you..." he thought to himself and sighed as he climbed into the taxi that was headed into the unknown, and was also heading down the same strange road.

    Chee-Z The Go-Kart Mozart

Drake and Narc pulled up in the yellow sports car in front of the house that Narc knew very well. "Yep, that's it. The Fire Apartment."

    "Why's it called that?"

"You don't wanna know..." They got their things out and drug them up the stairs of the townhouse. They kept a low key as they watched the girls go about their daily routine.

"Drake you made it!" squealed a girl running down the stairs in her pajamas. She hugged him and kissed his cheek. "Oh how I've missed you," cried Mary Kate.

"Aww sis, I missed you too...where're the rooms?" "Ah up here!" Drake and Mary Kate disappeared upstairs. Narc was anticipating getting "attacked" by several girls at once, but a girl with red hair and tan skin emerged from the kitchen carrying a plate of toaster pastries distracted him for a moment. "Do you know where my cousin and fianc are?"

    "Who are they? Who're you?"

"Oh, sorry, I'm Narcissus Lockhart." He shook the girl's free hand.

    "Pleasure. I'm Aeryn Englebreit. I'm a Freshman."

"Ah ok. So do you know a Sakura Lockhart or a Winry Barker?"

"Winry's at class and Sakura's sleeping." She was quite shy and to the point in her speech. She averted her eyes and walked on into the dining room. She then left to go put more chairs and a table in for the extra houseguests.

"Odd chica," Narc thought to himself. He then saw a sleepy eyed Sakura emerge from the bedrooms upstairs. She sorta gazed at him for a moment in disbelief, then snapped out of it and greeted him. "Narc, I didn't think you'd come back. What happened?"

"Let's just say it was too lonely for two people to stay in one house."

"So you wanted the company of five girls, most of whom are engaged or going to be engaged?"

"Wait a minute, don't tell me you did---"

"I did. I'm engaged to marry Pong."

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner? Congrats!"

"You were always busy being all kissy faced at Winry to notice anyone else, Family Man."

"Hey, you're that way with a vamp!" joked a girl behind them. Winry had just returned from her Pol Science class. Seemed like everyone ran around in their pajamas in this place, for she had returned from class wearing nothing but a night gown.

"Har har, very funny. I wouldn't be joking about odd relationships when we have several going right now."

    "Right, right, sorry."

So things went on smoothly. Drake finally settled on planning to be a Business Tycoon and changed his major to Economics. He had picked Joshua to be his role model in life. Things were hectic though, as there were still random fires with ramen noodles being unattended to and girls rushing around dating their future husbands and getting assignments and term papers written. The guys just went with the flow, as they had learned to do so when they were living at the Frat House. But the majority of the people who came here at the same time were Juniors with only 3 more semesters left to graduate. So they pushed forward, trying their best and all that jazz.

    Chee-Z The Go-Kart Mozart

    "Hello? Anyone home?"

"You sure this is the right place, Josh?"

"Well that's what the website for downtown said. Oldest house in the place. We ought to find Castor here."

It was three in the morning. Two gentlemen...well...a suitably dressed gentleman and a slobby guy wearing a bowling outfit...were dropped off by taxi at the doorstep of a run down Victorian mansion. Joshua took a deep breath and walked on through the gate. Keith followed after him. "Hey wait up, I don't want to be alone here!"

Joshua cautiously opened the front door. The foyer of the house was filled with band instruments: a guitar, a bass, a drum set featuring flames, and a piano. He walked on by the silent instruments and entered the palor. The place was lit by candlelight. The walls were an old, faded blue-stripped wallpaper, and the floor was a cushy carpet that added a spring to one's step. The room was modestly decorated with old photos and paintings, and old furniture. Someone had recently placed a poinsetta on an endtable. On one of the old, worn couches was a man in a white suit with white hair, lounging.

"Castor? Is that you?" Joshua had not seen the fellow since he had moved away to do the "experiment" that Castor had been ranting about for ages. The man sat up, stood up, and turned to face Joshua. His skin was a grayish purple, and his eyes shone through the dim-lighted room. They were a shade of blood red. The man smiled, showing barely his fangs, and walked over to the business-like Joshua. "Long time, no see, bro."

"Yeah really. So...uh...I'm assuming the experiment went well?" Joshua tried not to stare but couldn't help himself.

"It's still going, actually. Sorta waiting on Tiff to graduate. I was not expecting any more houseguests..."

"Ah sorry about that. We needed a place to stay though..."

"It's alright, it's just like the old days. How is the frat house?"

"Gone." "Really?" "Yeah, once Keith and I graduated, I told the remaining two to get on out when they could. Sim State doesn't really need more than one Greek House on campus."

"Right, right. I'm assuming Tri Var is going to be co-ed?"

"Maybe so if they're desperate for members."

"I called Heather to say that we were moved in!" Keith walked into the room, stopped dead, eyes widened in fear, and turned around and out again. The two men laughed.

"So where do I put my things?"

"Ah upstairs...oh, pardon me..." Castor turned into a bat and flew up the stairs. Joshua shrugged and followed. Two flights of stairs later, Joshua was settled and was searching for a job on the computer. He settled on Field Sales Representative or something like that and then collapsed on the bed and slept. The sound of honking outside startled him up and he rushed on to his first day of work.

Meanwhile that morning, Keith took it upon himself to invite a few guests over. First he called his fiance over. He broke in his new bed with a little...uh...recreational activities...then while his fiance slept, he called Ashley Pitts over and proceeded to make grilled cheese sandwiches. Once Ashley came over, Keith took it upon himself to invite Mr. Pitts to move in. So that was that. Castor was dropped off from his job as a Nurse and flew up the stairs in a panic before he burned up in the sun. Joshua came home to a full house of guests and housemates jamming on the instruments. He sighed and walked up the two flights of stairs to sleep once more.

Night fell. Castor awoke from his coffin and proceeded to run to the bathroom. "Darn sun...darn sunburn...ack..." He then flew down the two flights of stairs and ate some of the leftover cheese sandwiches that did not become covered in flies...and then called Tiffany over. She willingly agreed to visit, and came as soon as she could.

"Oh how I've missed you, my darling!" she cried as she ran to hug him. Castor seized her and gave her a smooch. They flirted and talked in the midnight cool, as people filed out of the house to go home or went up to their beds to sleep. Castor would occasionally peer over his shoulder to see what on earth was making such a noise in the back yard. He never did see what it was though. "Sounded like someone complaining about something..." he thought. He shrugged it off and led Tiffany up to one of the bedrooms...

You've been busy the last several days. ;)

I think that they need to come up with a career that is night hours only, all through the promotions so that our vampires don't take their lives into their own hands to make some $$.

It'd be easy to be a Mad Scientist vampire. Late hours three times a week. :D But alas Castor wanted to be a Chief of Staff so... I usually bounce from household to household, and I have my downtime before I do homework afterschool, so that's when I usually get my game time in. Having a story thread is just as close as keeping a Sim Journal, only more creative freedom. ;)
